Clerical Staff - Causal Positions

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform secretarial and clerical duties as assigned by supervisor which may include any or all of the following: reception, word processing, filing, duplicating, processing mail and ensuring integrity of information is maintained.
Ensure Safe School Arrival by confirming attendance and monitoring attendance patterns.
Respond promptly to all incoming communications and inquiries.
Organize, maintain and update student records using student database (office index cards, enrollment forms, student transfers, O.S.R.s).
QUALIFICATIONS
One-year college diploma or equivalent to obtain clerical skills.
Up to one year combined related experience and on-the-job-training to become familiar with board policies and procedures.
Excellent computer and word processing skills.
Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.
Experience with Aspen is an asset.
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Background check.

Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board (HPEDSB) serves approximately 15,185 students each day at 38 schools (31 elementary, two K-12; four 7-12, one secondary).
