Vmo Solutions builds the software that keeps Canadian airlines running. Our crew operations, scheduling, Electronic Flight Bag, and payroll systems are used daily by carriers across the country, from regional operators in the North to national cargo airlines. We're a small, close-knit team, which means the work you do here is visible and it matters.

The role

This is a broad, hands-on entry-level position that sits somewhere between executive assistant, office administration, and marketing. It's a role for someone who likes variety and is happy to pick up something new every week.

You'll work closely with our executive team, helping keep a lot of moving pieces on track. You won't be expected to own these areas or make the calls on your own - you'll be working alongside the people who do, with direction and support. It's also an excellent launch point: people who do well here tend to find their way into other roles across the business as their interests take shape.

What you'll be doing

· Helping manage executive calendars, scheduling, and day-to-day coordination

· Booking and organizing travel for the team

· Helping coordinate our presence at industry trade shows and events, from logistics through to materials

· Supporting marketing activities such as content, social, collateral, and customer communications

· Helping with basic HR processes including onboarding, documentation, and record keeping

· Assisting with general office administration and helping catch the small things before they fall through the cracks

What we're looking for

We care much more about attitude than resume length. A recent graduate is a great fit here.

· Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as business, commerce, marketing, communications, information technology, or a technical discipline

· Willingness to try things you haven't done before, and the judgment to ask for help or clarification when you need it

· Strong organizational instincts and attention to detail

· Clear, professional written and verbal communication

· Discretion and good judgment. You'll have visibility into confidential business and personnel matters, and trust is central to this role

· Genuine curiosity about our software and the aviation industry. You don't need to know either coming in, but you do need to want to learn

· Comfort with everyday business tools (Microsoft 365 or similar)

· Legal entitlement to live and work in Canada

Nice to have, not required: any exposure to aviation, SaaS, or B2B environments.

· $52,000 to $62,000 CAD per year, depending on experience

Where you'll work

This is officially a work from home position. We have an office in Halifax that you're free to use as much or as little as you want, but coming in is never required.

We'd prefer someone based in or near Halifax, largely so we can get together in person now and then. That said, it isn't a hard requirement. If you're a strong fit somewhere else in Canada, we're open to it.
