Employment Duties
- Supervising, coordinating, and scheduling the activities of construction workers and subcontractors.
- Establishing methods to meet work schedules and coordinating work activities with other subcontractors.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Ordering materials and supplies as required.
- Resolving work problems and recommending measures to improve productivity.
- Preparing progress reports and maintaining project documentation.
- Monitoring quality control and ensuring projects meet required standards.
- Ensuring that deadlines and project milestones are met.
Job Requirements
- Completion of high school diploma.
- Experience in the construction industry, including supervisory experience, is an asset.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Physically capable of performing site duties as needed.
- Valid driver’s licence is an asset.
Work Conditions
- Quick‑paced environment.
- Outdoor work may be required from time to time in various weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, and supervise on active construction sites.
- Occasional overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
- Travel within Canada may be required.
