We are looking for SMT Line Operators at our Markham facility. You will handle all aspects of in‑house production using advanced pick‑and‑place machines, AOI systems, and soldering robots to maintain our high quality standards.

$18.50 – $28.00 per hour / $38,500 – $58,000 Annual Equivalent

Key Responsibilities

• Operate semi-automatic or automatic solder paste stencil systems.
• Perform setup and product changeover tasks on SMT production lines.
• Monitor scrap rates and report component waste.
• Carry out quality inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshoot SMT assembly line equipment.

Requirements

• Sought-after SMT line experience with a hands‑on mindset.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.

Commission‑Only Sales Representative – Network Hardware/Software

Independent Non‑Exclusive Commission Only – Remote (Canada, US, CALA, MEA, or Global)

Highly‑motivated commission‑only sales representatives to drive market share. You will forge long‑term strategic relationships with telecom carriers, VARs, and large enterprise customers, earning commissions on recurring large‑scale deals.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate new business development and drive market share.
• Negotiate and close high‑value sales opportunities.
• Communicate Optima's value proposition to IT leaders.
• Nurture long‑term strategic relationships and manage CRM data.

Requirements

• Proven experience selling network hardware/accessories or software.
• Existing network of resellers and telecom carrier contacts.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with assertive, professional executive presence.
• Legal working status in chosen territory.

Hardware Engineering – Circuit Design & PCB Layout

Assist our engineering team in developing, testing, and supporting WAN/LAN based products. This role involves circuit design, PCB layout, validation, and working on compliance for regulatory approvals (EMC).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in circuit design and PCB layout (Altium Designer).
• Perform device/board level diagnostics and testing.
• Develop test procedures and knowledge base articles.
• Support compliance efforts for EMC and other relevant standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN, cellular networking, and mixed‑signal systems.
• Proficiency in prototyping, soldering, and troubleshooting.

Software Development – Wireless Gateways & IoT Nodes

Develop software solutions for wireless gateways, IoT nodes, and sensors. Focus on web and desktop‑based business applications using modern technologies, contributing to both new features and the migration of legacy systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web/IoT business applications.
• Assist in requirements collection and documentation.
• Perform stress‑testing and verification of new software features.
• Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.

Requirements

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of web services, service‑oriented architectures, and SQL.
