Elevate your engineering career with Amphenol as a Hardware & Test Engineering Co-Op in Markham. This opportunity combines laboratory testing with innovative hardware design for AI/ML I/O solutions. Working alongside experienced engineers, this co-op role focuses on supporting laboratory tasks related to high-speed connector systems. You will design and build test setups, analyze performance data, and help maintain organized lab documentation. Experience hands-on engineering while addressing real-world challenges in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform extensive mechanical and environmental testing
- Design test boards and hardware systems
- Create and iterate custom mechanical fixtures
- Support lab operation improvements with organized records
- Collaborate across disciplines in engineering teams
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering
- Interest in hands-on laboratory work
- Familiarity with circuit and mechanical design basics
- CAD tool knowledge is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
