We are looking for Retail Stylists for our Vancouver location in Kitsilano. You're passionate about jewelry, interior design and current fashion trends. You love working with a team and interacting with customers to create memorable experiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create a genuine experience for customers and give honest and personalized styling options for in-store and virtual appointments.
- Build and maintain customer relationships both in-store, over the phone and through text and email correspondence.
- Act as a positive brand ambassador for MAJ, ensuring elevated levels of professionalism, customer service and various operational tasks are always top of mind and consistently maintained.
- Learn the ins and outs of bracelet welding and engraving, plus a willingness to schedule/facilitate these experiences on a daily basis.
- Expertly process all customer exchanges and returns efficiently and according to company policy.
- Assess, process and follow through on all in-store customer repairs.
- Participate in inventory control/communicate any issues or concerns to Management.
- Ensure all MAJ policies and procedures are adhered to and followed on a daily basis.
- Stay up to date with detailed knowledge on new and existing products.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Retail experience (preferred but not required.)
- Supervisory background (preferred but not required.)
- Visual Merchandising experience (an asset)
- Prior experience working in jewelry production/repair (preferred but not required.)
- Able to work a minimum of 2 days a week.
- Available to work holidays, evenings, and weekends.
- Enjoy working in a team-focused environment and is comfortable communicating and sharing ideas.
- Passionate about jewelry and current fashion trends.
- Strong POS skills (experience with Shopify, Lightspeed and Acuity is a bonus!)
- Ability to problem-solve, exercise common sense, and the flexibility to learn about and support different areas of the business.
- Possess a strong sense of initiative, organizational skill, and a can-do attitude.
