Open and close the shop, including POS reconciliation and end-of-day procedures (we're a cashless business, all transactions are by card or tap)
Run the retail floor day to day: greeting customers, talking through our chocolates, flavors, and gifting options, and making sure the space looks great
Act as the go-to person on shift when ownership isn't on site
Support smooth handoffs between retail and production, especially around restocking and order pickups
Pitch in on light packaging support when needed, things like boxing up retail and gift orders during busy periods
Help train and support other retail team members as needed
Keep things running reliably during busy stretches, including our holiday season
Retail or hospitality experience, ideally with some keyholder or supervisory responsibility
Genuine interest in food and craft, you don't need a chocolate background but you should be excited to learn ours
Strong communicator who's calm and clear with both customers and teammates
Full-time, 9:00am to 5:30pm, Tuesday to Saturday, through the end of October
Starting in November, the shop moves to 7 days a week and shifts will be scheduled between 9:00am and 9:00pm
