Restaurant Assistant General Manager

We are looking for individuals that are passionate about Food, Hospitality, and are Guest focused as well as being a strong and motivating team player. **** Responsibilities:

• Possess the potential to effectively run the back & front of house and lead all shifts to meet Brand standards as well as financial goals
• Ensure the store is operating to all standards of a "Benchmark Restaurant", and creating a Perfect Guest Experience every time
• Manage all ongoing operations of the restaurant while achieving business requirements (including reporting, adherence to regulations, development of reports, etc.)
• Ensure Guest Experience is maintained by quickly and effectively resolving Guest complaints when received
• Take the opportunity to be Guest facing - communicate with Guests on a regular basis to gain insights on how you impact the Guest Experience
• Ensure recipe adherence in kitchen execution of all products served
• Implement and follow the Health and Safety policies and procedures (i.e. proper safe food handling, Occupational Health & Safety Act, WHMIS, etc.)
• Continue to develop associates and train new staff
• Support and implement Standards and Controls
• Other management duties as directed by the Franchise Owner and General Manager

Is This You?

• Ability to work in an environment that encourages and fosters teamwork, participation, creativity, openness, honesty, mutual respect and lots of fun
• Minimum 1 year experience working in a fast-paced "causal dining" restaurant OR high-volume "fast-food" restaurant (Management experience is preferred but not required)
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
• Planning and critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Some experience with food/inventory and labour cost/scheduling and monitoring of budgets
• Proficient people manager with coaching experience and the ability to listen and respond effectively to Associate and Guest concerns
• Diploma in Restaurant Management and/or Foodservice Manager accreditation is an asset but not required
