Site Manager – Maintenance Repair & Operations

The Site Manager in maintenance oversees the overall management of site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction projects and coordinate with construction workers.
• Manage construction equipment and machinery use.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
• Maintain communication between project managers, site staff, and clients, resolving problems and implementing improvements.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate tasks among workers and subcontractors.
• Ensure projects adhere to timelines and budgets.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, implement safety protocols, and provide safety training to minimize risks.
• Maintain high standards of quality control, inspecting work to meet specifications and industry standards.
• Liaise with stakeholders—including clients, contractors, and project managers—to report progress, address issues, and coordinate efforts.
• Manage materials and equipment on site: order supplies, track inventory, and use resources efficiently to prevent delays.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
• Background in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
• 5‑10 years of experience with large‑scale maintenance and turnaround projects.
• Leadership and team‑motivation skills; ability to resolve conflicts and make decisions under pressure.
• Ability to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
