Senior Executive Protection Officer

TalentWorld is recruiting a Senior Executive Protection Officer for a confidential client based in Toronto. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced executive protection professional who brings strong operational expertise, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to perform effectively in dynamic and high-profile environments.

In this role, you will provide hands-on executive protection and security support to high-profile individuals across a variety of settings. You will be involved in protective assignments, advance planning, secure transportation, travel security, threat identification, and event support.

The ideal candidate will bring a background in executive protection, close protection, military, law enforcement, intelligence, or corporate security, along with demonstrated experience protecting executives, high-profile individuals, public figures, or high-net-worth clients.

Senior Executive Protection Officer Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on executive and close protection services for high-profile individuals.
• Participate in protective details involving daily movements, meetings, corporate functions, special events, and travel.
• Conduct advance work, including site assessments, route planning, venue reviews, and security coordination.
• Identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and security concerns and take appropriate preventative measures.
• Support threat and risk assessments and contribute to the development of appropriate protection plans.
• Provide secure transportation and conduct route planning, including primary and alternate routes.
• Coordinate with other protection team members, internal security teams, law enforcement, venues, and external security partners as required.
• Support domestic and international travel security assignments.
• Respond quickly and effectively to changing circumstances, incidents, or potential security concerns.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of established executive protection procedures, protocols, and operational standards.
• Complete incident reports, security documentation, and post-assignment reporting as required.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, professionalism, discretion, and integrity at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience within executive protection, close protection, military, law enforcement, intelligence, corporate security, or a related environment.
• Demonstrated experience providing protection to senior executives, high-profile individuals, government officials, public figures, or high-net-worth clients.
• Strong knowledge of executive protection principles, protective operations, and security best practices.
• Experience conducting advance work, route planning, site assessments, and threat identification.
• Experience supporting domestic and/or international travel security assignments is considered a strong asset.
• Strong situational awareness with the ability to anticipate potential risks and respond appropriately.
• Excellent judgment, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective in high-pressure and rapidly changing environments.
• High level of discretion, confidentiality, emotional intelligence, and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a broader executive protection team.
• Flexibility to accommodate changing schedules, travel requirements, and assignments on short notice.
• Licences & Certifications
• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
• Use of Force and Handcuffing Certification.
• Standard First Aid & CPR/AED (Level C or higher).
• Valid Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record.
• Recognized executive protection or close protection training/certification considered a strong asset.
• Ability to obtain international travel documentation and security clearances as required.
• Working Conditions
• Based in Toronto, Ontario.
• Domestic and international travel may be required.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to respond to urgent or changing requirements on short notice.
• Position is primarily focused on hands-on executive protection and security assignments.
