Senior Engineer - Fire Protection Systems

Drive excellence in fire safety as a Senior Fire Protection Engineer. Design complex fire protection systems in a hybrid model, contributing to major institutional and commercial projects.
In this pivotal role, you will guide the technical direction of projects while applying advanced engineering principles to ensure safety and compliance. Your responsibilities will include mentoring junior staff and delivering high-quality project outcomes through effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The position offers a blend of remote work and field visits throughout Canada, enhancing your engagement with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design fire protection systems to meet safety standards
• Conduct hydraulic calculations and fire flow analysis
• Prepare and review technical documentation and drawings
• Lead project coordination meetings with diverse teams
• Foster team development and technical expertise across projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Fire Protection or related engineering field
• 8+ years of fire protection engineering experience
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada
• Strong understanding of NFPA codes and safety standards
• Experience with engineering design software tools
