Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day‑to‑day site operations, coordinating trades, ensuring adherence to drawings and specifications, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all on‑site construction activities from project start through close‑out
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and site staff
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and per contract documents
- Maintain strict compliance with health & safety regulations and company safety policies
- Conduct daily site inspections and tool‑box talks
- Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents to identify and resolve constructability issues
- Coordinate with Project Managers, consultants, and clients to resolve site-related issues
- Track site progress, maintain daily logs, and contribute to project reporting
- Manage site logistics, deliveries, inspections, and deficiency resolution
- Enforce quality control standards and ensure work meets applicable codes and standards
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent on ICI construction projects
- Proven experience working within a Design‑Build environment
- Strong knowledge of Ontario Building Code, construction methods, and sequencing
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple trades and priorities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient with construction documentation and basic construction software
- Valid Ontario driver's license
