Economic & Statistical Reports | Remote | Commission-Only

We are seeking an entrepreneurial, motivated Remote Sales Representative to sell economic, demographic, labour-market, industry, and statistical reports to businesses, organizations, consultants, investors, and economic development professionals across Canada and the United States.

This is a commission-only, remote position suited to an experienced B2B salesperson who is comfortable prospecting independently, identifying organizations that need economic and market intelligence, and closing sales.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential customers through email, telephone, LinkedIn, Indeed, and other online channels.
• Sell economic impact studies, demographic reports, labour-market reports, industry analyses, market studies, and customized statistical research.
• Develop relationships with businesses, consultants, municipalities, economic development organizations, real estate firms, financial institutions, and other organizations that use economic data.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate reports or research products.
• Conduct virtual sales meetings and product presentations.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate sales within established pricing guidelines.
• Follow up with prospective customers and maintain an organized sales pipeline.
• Develop new customer accounts and generate repeat business.
• Provide feedback on market demand, customer requirements, pricing, and potential new report products.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

• Demonstrated B2B sales experience , preferably selling professional services, research, data, consulting, or information products.
• Strong prospecting and cold-outreach skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain the value of economic and statistical information to non-technical customers.
• A self-directed and entrepreneurial approach to sales.
• Strong organization and follow-up skills.
• Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment.
• Existing relationships with businesses, consultants, municipalities, economic development organizations, or other potential purchasers of economic research would be an asset.

Compensation

Commission-only.

The representative will receive a commission on completed sales, with commission rates and payment terms established in the independent sales representative agreement.

There is no requirement to work fixed hours . Representatives are responsible for developing their own sales pipeline and may work remotely from anywhere in Canada or the United States, subject to applicable contractual requirements.
