Materials and Logistics Coordinator

Job Responsibility:
Job Summary: Responsible for the daily purchasing requirements in a fast past dynamic environment. Arrange and track shipping and logistics, including urgent AOG situations. Monitor local stock levels along with external vendor stock holdings. Identify and develop any cost or efficiency opportunities.
Responsibilities: · Manage procurement and repair of aviation materials. Including, sourcing, creating purchase orders and generation of repair orders.
· Determine the most efficient logistic method to transport parts to grounded aircraft, including, courier, charter and standard methods.
· Respond promptly to AOG requirements
· Control stores locations
· Control Quarantine part location
· Maintain and monitor internal stock levels.
· Actively participate in departmental meetings and discussions.
· Analyze logistic performance to identify efficiency or cost saving opportunitiesTrack and manage shipments to ensure a timely manner
· Provide logistic/purchasing reports as needed to support the operation
Qualification: · Previous purchasing experience within an aerospace environment.
· Ability to spend extended time working at a computer workstation.
· Clerical and/or administrative experience.
· MS-Office suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
· A highly self-motivated individual with excellent organizational and quality service skills.
· Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
· Professional, ethical, and committed to safety and excellence.
· Solid, effective oral and written communication skills.
· Proven experience as a collaborator and strong desire to build trust and relationships.
· Ability to work under pressure.
· Self-starter.
· Ability to prioritize workload in a dynamic setting.
