Mainframe Workload Automation Specialist

Elevate enterprise scheduling as a Mainframe Workload Automation Analyst with our Infrastructure and Operations team. Focus on IBM Tivoli and Workload Scheduler while providing 24x7 production support. We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Workload Automation Analyst who specializes in IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler and IBM Z Workload Scheduler support. In this vital role, you will ensure optimal performance for batch and online scheduling environments, performing software maintenance and handling production issues. You will also mentor junior staff and manage disaster recovery operations, contributing to effective workload automation. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 3 support for IBM TWS/ZWS environments
- Design and optimize job schedules and dependencies
- Monitor batch cycles for SLA compliance
- Install and configure TWS/ZWS components
- Analyze scheduling bottlenecks and implement solutions
- 5+ years IBM TWS/ZWS experience on z/OS
- Strong knowledge of batch processing and JCL
- Proven troubleshooting skills for complex scheduling
- Experience in 24x7 operational support
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent
