Key Responsibilities:

Assists under the supervision of the General Manager/Franchisee in achieving of the restaurant's budget, goals for sales and profitability.

Acts as Manager of restaurant operations in the absence of the General Manager/Franchisee and during scheduled shifts as assigned by the General Manager/Franchisee.

Assumes responsibility for the total assets of the restaurant including cash when managing the restaurant in the absence of the General Manager/Franchisee.

Handles all guest complaints courteously and expediently as and when they occur.

Ensures that guest satisfaction is achieved within the parameters of assigned authority and refers immediately to the General Manager/Franchisee any complaints of a major nature or those outside the limit of assigned authority.

Practices and maintains high standards of public relations on a personal level at all times with Chuck's Roadhouse guests and the general public.

Conducts strategy meetings before commencement of each shift with respective employees under direct supervision.

Assist in the development of hourly labour schedules and product buying for some or all departments in the restaurant as directed by the General Manager/Franchisee.

Assist the General Manager/Franchisee in maintaining the operational readiness of all components of the physical restaurant and equipment through preventive maintenance or service requests as delegated.

Assists the General Manager/Franchisee in controlling, analyzing, and reporting on financial transactions within the restaurant directly or as delegated by the General Manager/Franchisee.

Practices all elements of positive employee relations and ensures a safe working environment as prescribed by Chuck's Roadhouse policies, procedures and regulatory agencies.

Manages and directs the activities of hourly employees within assigned area(s) during scheduled shifts in accordance with established guidelines and performs hourly tasks during critical periods.

Develop and implement programs for restaurant staff and franchisees.

Prepare effective training programs.

Assist operators in conducting new store team training. Coordinates training plans including verification that all training materials and tools are ready.

Assist with company initiatives and provide operational support when needed.

Establish open lines of communication with franchise owners and managers and be able to provide feedback on training participants.

Continually improve training methods, materials and delivery.

Provide support and guidance to new employees and franchisees.

Organize seminars, workshops, individual training sessions.

Supervise employee/Franchisee performance and response to training.

Interact with managers/franchisees to determine training needs and schedule training sessions.

Ensures training standards and guidelines are followed at new and existing stores.

Conduct boarding sessions for new hires to familiarize them with company policies and procedures.

Ensures that required reports and records are accurately created and are timely in their submission.

Ensure physical facilities comply with company brand standards.

Create training materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, and guides.

Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions, both in-person and virtually.

Assess training effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics.

Collaborate with management to identify ongoing training needs and areas of improvement.

Stay updates with industry trends and best practices in training and development.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.

Other duties may be assigned from time to time.

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
