Job Summary

The Senior Training Advisor ensures customer satisfaction and good representation of Finastra and its products by providing high quality training for Finastra products and services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site and web-based product training for external clients
• Demonstrate moderate knowledge level and application of standards, principles, theories, concepts, techniques, practices, and procedures in banking/credit union operations
• Key performance metrics are:
• Verification of external training databases for Fusion Phoenix Conversions/Migrations
• Track external audience learning activities and measure their effectiveness
• Maintain internal Training Databases
• Actively add/modify online (self-paced) training sessions
• Actively add/modify written training guides
• Actively participates in team meetings
• Recommend to management any changes or enhancements to products, processes, and services, including making suggestions for increasing revenue and reducing costs
• Maintains punctuality, tact, thoroughness and professionalism in representing Finastra
• Maintains proficient knowledge of job related information by reviewing periodicals and utilizing internal training resources
• Promotes and maintains positive customer relations
• Manage personal travel schedule in accordance with internal policies
• Complete training reports and expense reports in a timely manner
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills

• Exemplary customer service skills
• Strong working knowledge of bank or credit union operations
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to thoroughly describe processes and articulate procedures
• Knowledge of web-based training tools including WebEx or TEAMS
• Knowledge of standard Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of online (self-paced) training tools, such as Camtasia or Captivate
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to work autonomously yet is a strong team player
• Knowledge of U.S. Lending rules, and regulations

Experience

• 5+ years experience in training, or the banking/credit union industry
• Experience with U.S. Lending in a financial institution setting
• Phoenix core experience is preferred, but not required

Education/Certifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent job related experience in Business, or Finance

Physical Demands

• Ability to receive, express, or exchange detailed information through oral and written communication
• Ability to see and operate a computer
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, bend, and lift and carry up to 25 lbs. of weight (laptop, suitcase, etc.)

Work Environment

• Work is performed in a general office environment
• Travel to United States required, up to 75%
