Become a key player at Thomson Power Systems as a Switchgear Application Specialist in Langley, BC. This onsite role focuses on providing technical expertise in low and medium voltage electrical systems. Thomson Power Systems, part of Regal Rexnord, is seeking a seasoned professional to enhance its Service team. As a technical subject matter expert, you will support troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning of switchgear and related systems. This role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams and emphasizes customer-focused solutions in dynamic environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support for Field Service Technicians
- Diagnose and resolve equipment issues methodically
- Develop and review Methods of Procedure for service work
- Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions clearly
- Collaborate with Engineering to communicate field issues
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of experience in power generation or electrical distribution
- 5+ years in installation and maintenance of electrical systems
- Strong communication skills for technical information
- Willingness to travel for field support
