Labour Relations Partner at Air Canada

AIR CANADA

Air Canada is seeking a motivated Labour Relations Partner to advise on collective agreements and arbitration processes. Join a leading airline recognized for innovation and diversity while supporting effective labor relations. As a Labour Relations Partner, you will provide comprehensive support in labor relations to management and supervisors, ensuring adherence to the Canada Labour Code and collective agreements. Your expertise in negotiation, grievance arbitration, and health and safety will help foster collaborative relations with union representatives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing company proposals for negotiations
  • Support grievance arbitration and administration of agreements
  • Maintain productive relationships with union representatives
  • Prepare and deliver labor relations training sessions
  • Conduct research on grievance and negotiation issues
Requirements:
  • Relevant education and experience in labor relations
  • Strong English communication and interpersonal skills
  • Clear negotiation skills and sound judgment
  • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work under pressure
