- Reconciliation of various accounts on a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly basis as required.
- Review journal entries and perform reconciliations as needed.
- Perform daily activities related to intercompany transactions.
- Review balance sheet monthly, adjust accruals and prepaid accounts as needed.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals, journal entries, and GL reconciliation.
- Process and reconcile merchandising purchase orders (POs) and GFNR (Goods not for resale) invoices
- Perform 3-way matching: PO, goods receipt, and vendor invoice
- Maintain accurate inventory accounting and COGS postings
- Process vendor invoices and manage accounts payable
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail or merchandising
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an asset
- Knowledge of inventory accounting, Merchandising POs is a strong asset
