Senior Director, Distribution Center Operations

Location: On-Site

Are you an experienced Distribution Center, Warehouse, or Supply Chain leader ready to lead a large-scale operation? We are seeking a Senior Director, Distribution Center Operations to drive operational excellence, financial performance, safety, quality, and workforce engagement across a high-volume distribution center.

What You'll Do

Strategic & Operational Leadership

• Lead all distribution center operations, including receiving, inventory, fulfillment, shipping, and quality.
• Execute long-term operational strategies aligned with business objectives and supply chain performance goals.
• Deliver results across safety, service, productivity, quality, and cost metrics.

Financial & Business Management

• Own operating and capital budgets, driving cost optimization and profitability.
• Use data, KPIs, and analytics to support strategic decision-making and performance improvement.

Continuous Improvement & Transformation

• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Drive process standardization, automation, and large-scale operational improvements.

People & Culture Leadership

• Lead a large, multi-layered workforce, including unionized employees.
• Build high-performing teams focused on safety, accountability, engagement, and development.
• Partner with Labor Relations to foster positive union relationships.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with Health Canada regulations, cGMP standards, and internal policies.
• Maintain audit readiness and operational integrity across the site.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of leadership experience in distribution, warehousing, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• 7+ years leading large-scale operations and multi-level teams.

Preferred

• Experience leading unionized distribution center operations.
• Expertise in warehouse, logistics, and supply chain management.
• Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
• Experience managing significant operating and capital budgets.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $151,200 - $201,600
