Forklift Operator (Counter Balance) Days

Our client in Brampton is seeking a full-time Counterbalance Forklift Operator to work in their facility. The job environment is fast-paced and can get dusty.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Move inventory and materials within the warehouse, load and unload trucks as needed
- Retrieve and transport products to designated storage areas or shipping zones based on operational needs
- Pick product from correct locations to fulfill customer orders
- Pick multiple orders at one time, confirm UPC# and quantity of product for accuracy
- Accurately and efficiently load outbound shipments
- Maintain clean and orderly staging, storage, and dock areas to ensure efficient workflow
- Work closely with warehouse staff, supervisors, and shipping/receiving teams to meet operational goals
- Adhere to all safety regulations, conduct pre-operation equipment checks, and report any malfunctions or safety hazards
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Forklift counterbalance license with at least 1-year experience.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be comfortable working in warehouse conditions
- Capable of working effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team
Hours:
Monday to Friday
7 am to 4 pm
