Emergency Nurse Educator at Southlake Health

Elevate healthcare education as an Emergency Nurse Educator at Southlake Health. This hybrid role focuses on staff development, clinical expertise, and patient care responsibilities. As part of the interprofessional team, you will lead educational initiatives and ensure competency in clinical practices. The position requires advanced knowledge in emergency nursing and support in patient teaching programs. Collaborate with other educators, develop educational strategies, and contribute to quality measurement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and evaluate clinical practices for outcomes
- Advocate for clinical team resources and patient needs
- Develop and implement educational programs for staff
- Facilitate learning experiences for students and educators
- Support clinical practice and policy development initiatives
- Active RN with Ontario's College of Nurses
- Three to five years of emergency nursing experience
- Certification in violence prevention and ACLS
- Best Practice Spotlight Organization Champion designation
- Background in adult education or training
