ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

NL Health Services – Labrador-Grenfell Zone is seeking a General Internist to join the team at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative environment while contributing to high-quality patient care in the region.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador
• Medical Degree (MD) from a recognized institution
• Completion of residency training in Internal Medicine
• Relevant clinical experience (preferred)
• Satisfactory Certificate of Conduct
• Satisfactory record of work performance and attendance

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide clinical services in Internal Medicine within scope of practice
• Participate in inpatient care, including ICU coverage as required
• Provide consultations, follow-ups, and ongoing patient management
• Support outpatient and ambulatory clinic services
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
• Support person- and family-centered care
• Promote patient and workplace safety
• Participate in on-call coverage as required

REMUNERATION

Remuneration will be in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement for salaried physicians in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Base Salary: $263,672 – $285,596

(Not including retention bonus, recognition of on-call responsibilities, and other applicable premiums.)

• Physician Signing Bonus — $150,000 + applicable top-up
• Come Home Incentive — $100,000 (if eligible)
