International Field Service PLC Engineer

Position Summary

As a Service Engineer you are abroad about 80% of your time. As a supervisor you coordinate commissioning of our machines and production lines at customers on location, mostly within Europe but also in the Middle East. You also provide support and advise customers on technical problems, perform preventive and corrective maintenance on new and existing machines and production lines and you ensure the technical functioning of the various installations.

Job Responsibilities Include

Commissioning of the new machines and production lines to the customers.

Optimize the PLC programs during commissioning.

You instruct the operators and maintenance service of customers regarding the use and maintenance of the machines and production lines.

You are involved in the installation, installation, connection and testing of new and existing machines and production lines.

You prepare reports regarding the work performed.

Assess the technical condition and operation of machines and production lines and advise the project team and / or the service department.

Resolving technical failures at customers.

Required Education and Experience

Higher education level preferably in the direction of electrical engineering.

Knowledge and experience with PLC systems and programming (Siemens and Allen Bradley).

International work experience is an advantage.

Communicative skills in English (Dutch is a plus)

Flexible and eager to learn, Results – oriented.

Readiness to travel 80% of your time nationally and internationally.

Good MS-Office skill for generating reports in Word and Excel.
