Catering and Hotel Room Sales Manager

Currently, we are seeking a dynamic and self-driven individual to join our team as a Catering and Hotel Sales Manager.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to spearhead the growth of our local catering business and hotel room sales. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in developing market segments by attracting new clients to utilize our hotel's event facilities, corporate travelers for rooms stays, as well as showcasing our diverse food and beverage outlet(s). Championed with expanding our existing client base and establishing long standing relations in the business community.

• Catering Sales and Customer Servicing Focus:
• Develop and implement strategies to increase bookings for events utilizing our hotel's event facilities.
• Cultivate relationships with event planners, local businesses, and potential buyers to promote our catering services.
• Customize offerings to meet the specific needs and preferences of our clients, ensuring exceptional service from planning through execution.
• Converse and target for Weddings, Social gatherings, Film/ Entertainment and Corporate event.
• Hotel Room Sales Focus:
• Target and capture the local corporate and group market for room bookings.
• Identify opportunities to enhance promotional initiatives to various business sectors
• Collaborate with the hotel's management team to optimize revenue for room sales while maintaining high guest satisfaction.
• Weekly soliciting of calling accounts new and existing with entertaining clients onsite.

The Ideal candidates for this position should possess:

• Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in sales, particularly within the hospitality industry, with a track record of achieving targets and fostering client relationships.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and management, to articulate our offerings and negotiate agreements.
• Strategic Thinker: Capable of developing and executing strategic sales plans to maximize revenue opportunities and drive business growth.
• Education/Skills : Hold a University degree, 5 years of Canadian hospitality sales role and a high acumen of computer skills.
• Passion for Hospitality: Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional guest experiences and a dedication to upholding the hotel's reputation for excellence.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
