Elite Diesel and Auto Performance is an established, locally owned automotive repair facility specializing in diesel pickup repairs, performance upgrades, as well as general automotive maintenance and repairs. Our shop is committed to providing customers with the highest level of care for their vehicles, including accurate diagnostics, quality repairs, and performance parts and modifications.
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Shop Hand to Assist with day-to-day operations of our shop and yard with some experience and an interest in continuing to grow their skill set in a professional shop environment that values quality workmanship.
Job Responsibilities:
- Shop and yard maintenance and general cleanup
- Parts running as required
- Minor repairs and maintenance, such as fluid and filter services
- Tire changes, mounting and related tire services
- Organizing and maintaining parts inventory
- Tool room organization and upkeep
- Assisting Technicians with various shop tasks
- maintaining a clean, safe and organized work environment
- other general shop duties as required
Position Requirements:
- Some experience within the industry an asset.
- Valid, unsuspended Class 5 driver’s license
- Ability to consistently lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to complete work with quality and efficiency within the job scope
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Move and direct customer vehicles as required
- Ability to build a knowledge base to further a career in the trade
