KITCHEN HELPER – NOC 65201
Salary: $20.00 per hour
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 35–40 hours per week
Work Location: 55 Pelly Road, Whitehorse, YT Y1A 4L9
Language of Work: English
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and portion food using basic kitchen tools and appliances.
- Assemble and plate meals and snacks for children.
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment by hand or dishwasher and return clean items to their proper storage areas.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, floors, and garbage areas.
- Stock, organize, and properly store food and kitchen supplies.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment.
- Support kitchen staff with food preparation, cleaning, and other general duties as required.
- Follow applicable food safety, sanitation, health, and workplace safety procedures.
