About the Role
As a Plastic Parts Assembler, you will play a vital role in ensuring the precision and quality of components used in scientific applications. Your attention to detail and ability to follow assembly procedures will directly contribute to the success of our operations and the satisfaction of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Assemble plastic components according to detailed instructions and blueprints.
- Inspect parts for defects or inconsistencies to ensure quality standards are met.
- Operate and maintain assembly tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quotas.
- Document assembly processes and report any issues or improvements to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to uphold safety and efficiency.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new techniques and tools.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols in a production setting.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with plastic materials or components.
- Familiarity with scientific or laboratory-grade products.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools.
