Canada's largest family owned moving company is looking for someone who is energetic, organized and customer focused. The Operations Supervisor would be responsible for the operations and logistics of the branch and would act as a local contact for all sales and local opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications (Assets):
- Supervisor experience , particularly in related industries such as Logistics or Home Services , where managing multiple crews was part of the role
- A valid A/Z or D/Z license , or forklift certification , which may be helpful for moving trucks, pallets, containers, or supporting crews during busy times
- Experience in the Moving Industry is considered an asset
While supervisory experience is not mandatory, it is an asset. If you have any additional qualifications that you believe make you a strong fit for this role, please be sure to include them in your submission.
Job Duties include:
- Operational oversight of the crew, which typically consists of a team of 10 to 25 drivers and helpers .
- Scheduling and workforce coordination.
- Problem-solving and addressing issues as they arise.
- Supporting and enforcing discipline procedures.
- Training team members.
- Overseeing Health and Safety practices on-site.
- facilities & fleet oversight for the branch, including fleet maintenance scheduling, storage business management, repair management for building and equipment, etc.
- operational & sales cooperation with other branches & long distance fleet - our local branches support each other in times of high volume, and support our long distance fleet in servicing moves that are shipped on long distance units.
