Resident Care Coordinator (LPN)

The Berkeley is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Residential Care Coordinator to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity to combine leadership, resident advocacy, and team coordination . You will play an important role in ensuring residents receive safe, personalized, and compassionate care while supporting our health care team and building.

What You'll Do

• Provide clinical leadership and support to the health care team.
• Assess residents and monitor changing care needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and dressings as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate resident care plans and follow up.
• Coordinate staffing and schedules to ensure appropriate care coverage.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and performance support to care team members.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and staff.
• Assist with operational leadership and continuity when required.

What We're Looking For

• Current LPN registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN) .
• Previous supervisory, charge, or leadership experience is preferred.
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification.
• Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• A compassionate, respectful, and professional approach.
• A genuine passion for supporting older adults and enhancing their quality of life.
