Finance Manager at Non-Profit Organization

Join a well-funded non-profit as a Finance Manager in Ottawa, contributing to financial management and supporting operational objectives. Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with funding requirements. This role, reporting to the Director of Finance & Operations, entails critical responsibilities for maintaining financial processes. Collaborate with teams to prepare budgets, forecasts, and comprehensive reports for management and funders, ensuring timely and accurate information. Your strategic insights will guide effective planning and decision-making within the organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Support funding proposals and monitor compliance with agreements
- Coordinate annual audits and manage government filings
- Oversee payroll, benefits, and banking reconciliations
- Provide actionable financial analysis and support special projects
- Post-secondary degree in finance or related field
- CPA completed or in progress is an asset
- Minimum 4+ years in financial management
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
