What You Will Accomplish

• Support the finance team in the execution of their strategic plans


• Support the Controllership team by preparing reconciliations for the monthly GL close


• Support the Accounts Payable Team by reviewing and approving expenses as well as entering bank information for payments where applicable


• Support special projects where required

What We Are Looking For

• You are working towards a Bachelor's degree in Business or Economics (specializing in Accounting is considered an asset but not required)


• You have an analytical mind, and enjoy finding solutions to complex problems


• You love numbers, analyzing large datasets, and building financial models


• You like working in a fast paced, collaborative environment with smart and interesting people

Compensation & Benefits 

At Magnet Forensics, we are committed to fair and consistent pay practices for our student roles. Hourly pay is determined using standardized, non-negotiable salary bands based on academic progression and the number of official completed work terms recognized by your academic institution.

$21.58 - $29.81 (Currency i.e. “CDN”) an hour

If you’re within a comfortable travel distance to one of our offices, you’ll occasionally join us in person. How often you’ll come in depends on your department and team needs, typically ranging from weekly to monthly. These in-person moments help us build stronger connections, spark new ideas, and celebrate our successes together. Most days, you can choose what works best for you, while staying in tune with your team’s goals.
