Clinical Research Associate

ICON seeks an experienced Clinical Research Associate to oversee clinical trial monitoring in the Greater Toronto Area, focusing on respiratory and cardiovascular studies. The role involves ensuring protocol adherence, conducting site visits, and maintaining regulatory compliance across multiple trial sites.
Responsibilities
- Monitor clinical trial sites to ensure adherence to protocols, regulatory requirements, and GCP standards
- Conduct site visits to assess performance, resolve operational issues, and provide operational support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate data collection and reporting
- Provide training and guidance to site staff and other CRAs to maintain high conduct standards
- Build and maintain effective relationships with site personnel and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific or healthcare-related discipline
- Extensive Clinical Research Associate experience with deep understanding of trial processes and regulations
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sites and projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills
- Expertise in monitoring practices, data integrity, site management, and clinical trial software
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to drive compliance
- Willingness to travel approximately 60% as required
