Shared Health is looking for Indigenous candidates for this full-time ICU Nurse Trainee position in the Critical Care Float Pool. The role requires completing the Critical Care Nursing Orientation Program and emphasizes a strong understanding of nursing practices and patient interactions. Trainees will learn under experienced professionals in a collaborative setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Complete the Critical Care Nursing Orientation Program successfully
- Assist in the provision of high-quality patient care
- Maintain compliance with nursing ethical standards
- Document patient information accurately
- Participate in team discussions about patient care
- Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Critical Care Rhythms Course completion necessary
- Active registration with the CRNM is required
- Basic Life Support training essential
- Knowledge of nursing ethics and cultural considerations
