Associate Director Fixed Income Trader

Advance your career as an Associate Director, Fixed Income Trader at iA Global Asset Management in Montreal or Quebec City. Be a key player in executing reliable fixed income transactions and enhancing trading processes. In this pivotal role within the Fixed Income trading team, you will collaborate with portfolio managers and analysts to drive operations. Reporting to the Vice President, you will ensure streamlined transactions and support order management for both fixed income and derivatives. Your insights will be essential for improving the trade workflow. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and execute transactions in fixed income and derivatives
- Support order management and trading operations
- Share market insights with the investment management team
- Coordinate workflow with Accounting, Legal, and Operations
- Develop relationships with counterparties for liquidity access
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; CFA preferred
- Minimum 5 years trading experience in fixed income
- Proficient in Bloomberg and trading tools
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Fluent in English; French is an asset
