Manager of Corporate Accounting in Mississauga

Elevate your career in corporate accounting with a leading public real estate company in Mississauga. Seeking a qualified CPA with strong financial reporting skills to join the team. This Manager, Corporate Accounting role requires a candidate with over five years of experience in corporate accounting or a Big 4 firm. You will lead the preparation of quarterly financial statements, MD&A inputs, and manage corporate close processes. This role emphasizes technical accounting, IFRS knowledge, and fostering team development. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead preparation and review of quarterly financial statements
• Manage monthly corporate close process for accuracy and timeliness
• Review and prepare accounting entries for general ledger accounts
• Supervise joint venture accounting and financial statement reporting
• Analyze and review technical accounting memos Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of corporate accounting experience
• CPA designation and post-secondary degree in accounting
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and public company reporting
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Take the leadership role in corporate accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.
