Job Responsibilities
- Red Seal Chef certification preferred, or a minimum of 5 years' experience in a commercial kitchen.
- Proven experience as a chef in an institutional, commercial, or large-scale food service environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently, follow established procedures, and maintain self-discipline in a structured setting.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and food presentation.
- Thorough knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and workplace safety standards
Qualifications
· Red Seal Certification or minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial kitchen
· Passion for culinary innovation and excellence
· Food Safety Certification (e.g., Safe Food Handling
Must be able to pass a goverment security clearance
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.90. Full time 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday no weekends. Early morning shifts range from 5 am to 3:00 pm, 8.5 hours per day.
