On Site Manager

Our client, manufacturing industry is seeking an On Site Manager to join their team. As a On Site Manager, you will be part of the Operations / Workforce Management supporting manufacturing and industrial environments. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: On Site Manager

Location: Midland, ON (100% Onsite)

Pay Range: $30-$32 per hour

Shift: Day (9:00 am to 5:00 pm- Flexible)

What's the Job?

• Manage all workforce operations at the manufacturing facility, including recruitment, employee relations, attendance management, and performance monitoring.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the client and workforce, ensuring staffing needs are met with high employee satisfaction and safety standards.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment activities for technical and non-technical roles, sourcing and onboarding qualified candidates.
• Coordinate employee scheduling, conduct onboarding sessions, and monitor workforce performance metrics.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and maintain compliance with safety and employment regulations.

What's Needed?

• 3-5+ years of experience in recruitment, staffing, or workforce management.
• Proven success in recruiting both technical and non-technical roles, with experience managing high-volume hiring initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, safety standards, and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

• Experience in a Manufacturing environment
• Experience with Controlled goods program
