ICI Site Superintendent - Hotel (Traveling)

Job Description
- Supervising the construction project and all the operations on the site
- Ensuring that the quality of work and materials is upheld - Upholding Quality Assurance and Quality Control standards
- Organizing and Supervising site staff, trades and contractors and ensuring that they are performing as required and reporting progress
- Tracking/logging daily manpower on site and maintaining a project diary
- Ensuring that the health and safety project plans and MOL requirements are implemented and followed
- Ensuring that the budget is followed; work with the Project Manager in managing all Division 1 costs
- Creating, Monitoring, and updating project schedules and ensuring the schedule and look ahead schedules are followed and provide updates to the Project Manager/Senior Management as required
- This is a proactive search for upcoming pipeline of projects

The Successful Applicant
- 10+ years experience in construction as a Mid-Rise/Hotel Construction Site Superintendent working on multiple full-cycle Hotel renovation and capital improvement projects
- Have a post secondary education in Business, Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent (MBA and M. Eng. Preferred)
- Have all necessary certifications like Working at Heights, WHIMIS, First Aid and Basics of Supervision
- Possess thorough knowledge in designing and building large scale multi-unit commercial and/or family construction projects
- Able to read construction working drawings including and not limited to architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and landscape drawings
