Landscape Construction Foreman

Before you apply, know this. At Beyond Landscaping, we hold ourselves to these, and if none of them mean anything to you, this probably isn’t your crew:

• We build a world-class team.

• We embrace the journey.

• We own it.

• We operate with excellence.

• We never stop improving.

• We deliver beyond expectations.

If you read that and thought, “yeah, that’s actually how I already work,” keep going.

The money and the stability

•$36 to $40 an hour, paid bi-weekly.

• Year-round, full-time — no layoffs when the rain starts.

• Company truck for foremen.

• Health benefits for eligible staff.

•4% vacation pay.

• Performance-based raises.

The respect and the life outside work

• Real autonomy — we hire you to make calls, not wait for them.

• Rarely weekends, evenings, or holidays.

• Flexible hours and time off.

• Thursday team BBQs, camping, bowling, golf, paintball, go-karting.

• People come here and stay. That’s not an accident — we built it that way.

Real growth, real accountability

This isn’t a job where you show up, run tasks, and hope someone notices. We run the company on EOS, the Entrepreneurial Operating System. In plain terms, that means no gut-feel decisions and no guessing where you stand.

• Clear goals every quarter — you’ll always know exactly what winning looks like in your seat.

• A scorecard that tracks the numbers that matter — your performance is visible, not a mystery.

• Weekly team check-ins to solve problems fast, not let them sit for a month.

• Leadership held to the same standard we hold you to — accountability runs both ways, not just downhill.

• Right people, right seat — we build the org around what people are actually good at, not just who’s available.

• Direct mentorship from ownership and management — not a handbook, actual people who walk sites with you.

• Funded tickets, courses, and trade education — we pay for the growth, you put in the work.

• A real, structured path to Construction Manager for foremen who want to manage people and projects, not just sites.

What you’ll own

• Run job sites start to finish — layout, sequencing, quality, cleanup.

• Lead a crew of 2 to 5 — direct the work, set the pace, hold the standard.

• Be the customer’s point of contact on site — answer questions, flag changes.

• Keep jobs on schedule and on budget — materials, hours, waste.

• Train the next generation — bring apprentices up to your level.

• Own site safety — daily checks, hazard calls, everyone home safe.

What you bring

Must-haves:

•2+ years landscape construction experience.

• Proven crew leadership — you’ve run sites, not just worked on them.

• Valid BC driver’s licence, confident towing 10- to 14-foot trailers.

• Strong across multiple trades — hardscape, concrete, carpentry, masonry, planting.

• Can read plans and translate them into a day’s work for your crew.

• Reliable, organized, and calm when the day changes on you.

Nice-to-haves:

• Small equipment tickets — skid steer, excavator.

• First Aid certification.

• Red Seal or trade certification.

• Experience with site scheduling or crew apps.

What we’re actually asking

Being a foreman isn’t just a technical job — it’s a leadership one. So tell us: what’s a sacrifice you made to become the person your crew actually trusts?

Applications without a note usually don’t get a reply.

We’re building a world-class team, one crew at a time. Are you the person to help take this team and this division to the next level? Is that you?
