Finishing Operator Responsibilities:
- Accurately reads and interprets Sales Orders to ensure correct product processing
- Assigns finished products to the correct Sales Order
- Operates finishing saws, including measuring and cutting parts within required specifications
- Operate shop equipment including drill press, band saw, finishing saw, manual banding tools, and two-way radio (walkie-talkie)
- Cut, drill, tape, and prepare parts according to engineering drawings, specifications, and sales orders
- Verify part dimensions and requirements prior to processing to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met
- Complete pre-shift equipment inspections and report any malfunctions to supervision
- Maintains a clean and organized work area by performing end-of-shift cleanup according to posted procedures
- Identify parts designated for finishing saw operations and verify requirements prior to cutting
- Complete Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and submit corrective action documentation to the designated Quality Assurance area
- Previous Manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret Blueprint diagrams
- Experience operating an Overhead Crane
- Must have access to your own vehicle
- Strong communication skills are a must
- Able to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift 50lbs
Pay: $23.50/hour
