• Job duties:
• To lead, manage and advance the core business activities (Exports, Imports & International Trade).
• To direct and manage companies' resources like human resources and financial resources for implementing and controlling strategies and policies to achieve desired results.
• To work in conjunction with the Board of Directors to develop and establish objectives for the company. To lead, manage and advance the core business activities (International Trade & Exports) by effective policies & strategies to achieve objectives of the company.
• To hire new professionals and senior staff, guide & train them, knowledge and skill transfer to increase efficiency and business volume. Guiding and offering advocacy to employees for successful implementation of long term and short term strategies. Also responsible for performance review and appraisal of the team mates.
• To increase business volume for the entity by leading and managing core functions and operations of the business.
• To direct strategies and operational SOP (process improvement) of all main desks like Trade, Accounts & Finance and Logistics to be followed by staff.
• To act as final approval authority for all major financial and commercial strategies and decisions. Also, highest ranking managerial cum executive position for any decisions for purchase of any high value assets / other investments of accumulated profit of the Canadian entity like office facility / warehouse facility etc for long term planning for growth of the entity.
• To add new product range in the trade module to increase business size & volume of the entity (product management).
• Term of Employment: Full time permanent
• Language of Work: English
• Wages: CAD $78/ hour

• Skills Requirements: (Education / Work Experience/Skills)

Education:

• Graduate (Preferably in Textiles or Plastic Engineering) with MBA or equivalent degree.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in management of International Trade & Exports business and to set up operations in the new company. (Preferably in textiles, resin, chemicals, food and agro commodities).
• Experience of International Business & Exports promotion travelling worldwide and excellent networking.

Skills:

• Ability as effective leader and accountable high profile managerial cum executive (management) role for International Trade & Export / Import operations.
• Ability to develop corporate strategies for exports and international trade.
• Ability to train, guide and mentor human capital for operations of exports and international trade
• Business negotiations and communication skill
