Physiatrist Lecturer at University Health Network

The University of Toronto is seeking a Physiatrist-Clinician Teacher to fill two positions in its Post-Acute Care & Rehabilitation program at UHN. Candidates should have a strong background in brain injury rehab and a commitment to teaching across various medical education levels. You will deliver care to patients while leading the education of healthcare trainees in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consultations for rehabilitation patients
- Offer lectures and curriculum support for medical students
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in rehabilitation
- Mentor and assess medical trainees and residents
- Participate in academic committees and community outreach
- MD or equivalent with current licensure eligibility in Ontario
- Fellowship certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation required
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching and mentoring
- Master’s degree or completion of the Master Teacher program
- Experience with brain injury rehabilitation preferred
