Welcome to Tiny Timbers Children's Academy, we are a new Childcare Centre opening in Willowbrook, Langley. We are two moms who wanted to create an environment for children that feels like their home away from home. Our programs include Infant Toddler, 3-5 Full day, Junior Kindergarten, and Out of School Care. Our approach to early childhood education is rooted in the principles of Emergent curriculum, we facilitate learning by creating learning experiences based on children's interests and provide activities that foster discovery.

We are a seeking passionate and diligent Manager to join our team. The Center Manager will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and development of the children in our care, as well as managing the daily operations of the center. We are looking for someone who enjoys building authentic relationships with children, families and the local community. This individual will demonstrate organization, quick thinking, and a warm and inviting personality. It is important that they have knowledge on operating a childcare that promotes health and safety. Tiny Timbers manager will ensure that licensing regulations and our policies and procedures are being followed.

Duties:

· Develop and maintain positive relationships and communication with families

· Provide leadership and guidance to Teachers

· Manage enrollment and admissions processes

· Respond to inquiries (phone calls and emails)

· Scheduling

· Recordkeeping

· Coordinate with parents/guardians to address any concerns or issues

· Oversee the maintenance of facilities, equipment, and supplies

· Ensure the adherence to cleaning schedules

· Communicate with licensing and ensure compliance

· Submitting reportable incidents within 24 hours

· Thorough and up to date understanding of Tiny Timber's policies and procedures

· Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in early childhood education

· Teaching in the classroom when required

· Ensuring teacher to child ratio is met

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Conflict resolution skills

· Ability to lead and motivate a team of teachers

· Knowledge of classroom management techniques and strategies

· Ability to educate and engage children in a variety of learning activities

· Excellent technology skills, you will be required to communicate with parents using the Procare app and via email

Requirements :

· Valid Early Childhood Educator Certificate

· Valid First Aid Certificate

· Criminal Record Check Required

· 3+ year experience working in childcare settings

· Management experience

Compensation

Starting at $25 an hour plus wage enhancement.

Job Type: Full-time
