Regional Sales Manager – Industrial Elevators

Location: Western Canada
Compensation: CAD $100,000–$135,000 base salary plus commission
Travel: Approximately 50%, primarily by air

A global manufacturer of industrial elevators and vertical access equipment is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to grow its Canadian business. You’ll take over an existing customer base while developing new opportunities across the region. This is a field-based role with the flexibility to plan your own travel schedule.

You’ll sell new equipment, upgrades, replacement parts, and service agreements to industrial facilities and other customers. Success in this role calls for both strong customer relationships and the technical ability to understand an application, review specifications, and put together a sound proposal.

What you’ll do

• Grow sales with existing customers and identify new projects and accounts.

• Build relationships with facility teams, utilities, engineering firms, contractors, and equipment manufacturers.

• Visit customer sites, assess applications, and recommend equipment or service solutions.

• Review drawings and specifications; prepare estimates, bids, and proposals with internal support.

• Manage opportunities and forecasts in the CRM, and coordinate with internal teams as projects move forward.

• Help shape the company’s growing Canadian business, including working closely with a parts support colleague.

What you’ll bring

• At least 5 years of outside sales experience with industrial equipment, elevators, vertical access solutions, or related technical products.

• Experience working with customers in industrial or construction environments.

• The ability to understand technical drawings, equipment specifications, and customer requirements.

• Strong independent judgment and comfort managing a territory with a broad range of responsibilities.

• Authorization to work in Canada and the ability to travel regularly.

Experience in the elevator industry and familiarity with Canadian elevator codes are strongly preferred . A technical or engineering background is also valuable; a specific engineering degree is not required.

This role offers an established book of business, room to develop new accounts, and the opportunity to grow with the Canadian operation. Commission is paid on eligible sales, with details discussed during the interview process.
