Director of Revenue Strategy & Operations

VeriFast is looking for a highly analytical and strategic Director of Revenue Strategy & Operations to help drive revenue growth through data, insights, and operational excellence. This role is ideal for someone with a background in management consulting, business analysis, or revenue operations who enjoys solving complex business problems and turning data into actionable strategies. You will work closely with executive leadership and the sales organization to identify opportunities, improve processes, optimize pipeline performance, and provide the insights needed to make informed business decisions. This role serves as a strategic partner to executive leadership and the revenue organization, helping determine where the business should focus, which opportunities will drive the greatest impact, where revenue risks exist, and how to optimize growth across the customer lifecycle. The ideal candidate combines a consulting mindset, strong business acumen, and exceptional analytical skills to transform complex data into actionable recommendations that drive measurable business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Analyze revenue, pipeline, customer, and sales performance data to identify trends, risks, growth opportunities, customer expansion opportunities, retention opportunities, and areas requiring strategic focus. Partner with Sales Leadership to identify high-value accounts, customer segments, industries, and opportunities that will drive the greatest revenue impact. Provide actionable recommendations that help revenue teams prioritize efforts, focus resources, and improve overall sales effectiveness. Identify whitespace opportunities within existing customer accounts and support account expansion strategies through data-driven insights. Analyze customer behavior, retention indicators, and product adoption trends to uncover opportunities for growth and mitigate revenue risk. Develop reporting, dashboards, and KPIs to support executive decision-making. Build forecasting models and provide accurate revenue insights. Conduct market and competitive research to identify new opportunities. Revenue Operations Own CRM governance and ensure exceptional data quality and data hygiene. Optimize sales processes, workflows, and operational efficiencies. Monitor pipeline health, conversion rates, forecasting accuracy, customer retention, expansion opportunities, and overall revenue performance. Support territory planning, account prioritization, and go-to-market execution by providing strategic insights and performance analysis. Identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements across the revenue funnel and customer lifecycle. Monitor customer retention, expansion, and revenue performance metrics to help drive sustainable growth across the customer lifecycle. Business Analysis Translate complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations. Perform deep analysis to uncover revenue opportunities, customer expansion opportunities, retention opportunities, and operational improvements. Act as a strategic advisor to the revenue organization by translating complex business data into clear recommendations that improve decision-making and business outcomes. Evaluate revenue opportunities, market opportunities, and strategic initiatives using a consulting-style, data-driven approach. Support strategic planning through research and data-driven insights. Evaluate business initiatives and recommend priorities based on data. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Finance. Support go-to-market planning and operational execution. Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership. Drive continuous improvement across revenue-generating functions. What We’re Looking For 7+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Business Analysis, Management Consulting, Strategy, or a related analytical role. Previous consulting experience is strongly preferred. Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills. Advanced experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) and maintaining exceptional data hygiene. Experience building dashboards, reports, and forecasting models. Strong understanding of sales operations, pipeline management, forecasting, customer retention, account expansion, and revenue metrics. Experience identifying revenue growth opportunities, customer expansion opportunities, and go-to-market priorities through data analysis and strategic insights. Strong consulting mindset with the ability to diagnose business challenges, uncover opportunities, and develop actionable recommendations. Ability to influence sales strategy and resource allocation through analytical insights and business intelligence. Ability to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and make strategic recommendations using data. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders at all levels. Self-starter with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence. Location
