Internship Overview

As a Finance Intern, you’ll get hands-on experience and learn about budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis. You'll work with our finance team and help with important projects, gaining skills to support business decisions.

Location: Hanover, ON
Term: May 2026 - Aug 2026
Compensation: This internship is a paid position.

Your Day to Day

• Conducting monthly general ledger reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Preparing journal entries and maintaining precise financial records.
• Balancing trucking destination spreadsheets and reconciling trucking allocations
• Supporting our accounts receivable and accounts payable teams with essential financial processes.
• Organizing and filing important paperwork to keep everything running smoothly.
• Taking on additional responsibilities as they arise, giving you a well-rounded experience.

• Gain practical experience in financial reporting by working on real-world financial data.
• Learn about the latest trends and technologies in financial management and accounting.
• Develop skills in data analysis and financial modeling to enhance your finance expertise. 
• Receive mentorship from seasoned finance professionals and industry experts, guiding you through your learning journey.

What We're Looking For:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Administration, Accounting or a related field.
• Must be proficient using Microsoft Office programs and be comfortable using virtual
  meeting platforms.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and
  meet deadlines, while ensuring attention to detail.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
• Full-time availability for a 4-month term, April – Aug 2026
