Downhome Magazine is looking for a personable, motivated and relationship-focused Account Manager to join our sales team. This is a key role within the company, responsible for building and nurturing client relationships, growing existing accounts and discovering new opportunities across a growing collection of Downhome brands, products and platforms. While this is primarily an in-house position, we're also open to hearing from seasoned sales professionals who already spend their days on the road, know the Newfoundland and Labrador business community and have an established network of relationships throughout the region. What You'll Be Doing: Advertising & Account Management

You'll manage and grow advertising relationships across a variety of Downhome brands and platforms including:

- Downhome Magazine

- Downhome Digital Platforms

- Explore Travel Guide

- Inside Labrador Magazine

- Downhome Events & Sponsored Events

- Great Auk Winery

- GeoToken

This is relationship-driven sales. We're looking for someone who enjoys getting to know their clients, understanding what they need and finding the right opportunity, not simply selling an ad and moving on.

Your Territory

Your primary focus will be the East Region of Newfoundland, covering the Avalon Peninsula and extending east and south through communities like Clarenville, Bonavista and Grand Bank, and the surrounding towns and communities. The role includes additional Labrador responsibilities, including Labrador City, Wabush, Churchill Falls and surrounding towns and communities. Travel is part of the job, so being comfortable and self-motivated to get out there and meet people is important.

Who You Are

You might be an experienced account manager, media salesperson or advertising representative. Or maybe you're a seasoned sales professional who already travels the province., knows the businesses and communities in your territory and has spent years building relationships and a strong network.

We're looking for someone who is:

- Naturally personable and comfortable building genuine relationships

- Confident communicating with businesses and decision makers

- Self-motivated and comfortable taking the lead

- Organized and detail-oriented

- Able to manage multiple clients, brands and projects simultaneously

- Works independently while being part of a collaborative team

- Curious, creative and able to spot a good opportunity

- Familiar with Newfoundland and Labrador's businesses communities

Sales and account management experience is preferred. Experience in media, advertising, retail, tourism or corporate sales is considered an asset.
