Location: Vancouver, BC
Salary: $65,000 – $85,000
Schedule: Full-Time

Our client, a well-established plaintiff-side law firm in Vancouver, is seeking a Paralegal to join its growing Class Action and Mass Tort team.

This is a unique opportunity that differs from a traditional litigation paralegal role. The position is highly client-facing and focuses on claims intake, client communication, information gathering, and file progression throughout the claims process. It is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working directly with people, managing large volumes of information, and helping clients navigate complex legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct client interviews and intake discussions related to class action and mass tort claims
• Gather, review, and organize information and supporting documentation from claimants
• Draft and process claim materials based on client-provided information
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the claims process
• Manage file progression, including document collection, claim tracking, and settlement administration
• Maintain accurate records and databases related to large-scale claims matters
• Respond to client inquiries in a professional, empathetic, and timely manner
• Assist with fact investigation, information analysis, and problem-solving related to claims administration

Qualifications

• Paralegal Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous experience in a client-focused legal, claims, intake, or case management role
• Exceptional interpersonal and client service skills
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience managing large volumes of information and documentation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database or case management systems
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and exercise sound judgment
• Professional, compassionate, and calm approach when dealing with sensitive matters
